Contract administration is an integral part of our design, project management and employers agent roles, and can also be provided as an individual service. We understand all aspects of construction procurement, including the regulations that affect the public sector. As either a standalone service, an integral part of our project management offer, or part of our role as an employers agent, we provide clear advice upon the most appropriate route for a particular project. The purpose of the Party Wall Etc., Act 1996 is to provide owners with rights to undertake certain specific works on or adjacent to adjoining properties, and to give protection to potentially affected neighbours. The Act is prescriptive in placing duties upon the various parties involved in the development process. We provide early advice upon the implications the Act may have on development proposals, and ensure the appropriate procedures are adopted in order to avoid delay. Acting as both building and adjoining owner’s surveyors, we ensure that the terms of the Act are adhered to, enabling developments to proceed unhindered while all parties’ interests are protected.
