Castle Owen led this multi disciplinary project to refurbish and repurpose an existing building to create a highly serviced STEM laboratory.
The nature and construction type of the existing building proved to be challenging and limiting but our design team overcame these limitations in the final design solution which was well received by the end users. We worked closely with our structural and building services framework partners as a multi disciplinary team to deliver this important commission for the University of Nottingham and provide them with single point responsibility.
Many of our clients have subsequently appointed Castle Owen as a single multi disciplinary consultant and project lead as they value our “can do” attitude and strong management ability.
